Welcome, I am Simon.

I bring to counselling both my professional lens and my personal journey, shaped by profound questions of purpose, resilience, pain, and what it means to be in authentic relationship with ourselves and others.

You can expect me to guide our work with that same curiosity, honoring the sanctity of our connection as it informs the pace and depth of our work together. I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), humanistic, emotion-focused, and somatic approaches to support your process of reconnection and healing. Along the way, I bring compassion, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to your growth and well-being.

How I Can Help

As a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) trained in Internal Family Systems, trauma work, and Emotion-Focused Couples therapy, I support individuals and couples seeking positive change, deeper self-understanding, and a more authentic life in connection with themselves and others.

Many clients are navigating life transitions, relational challenges, or the lingering effects of childhood and relational trauma. Though you may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what’s next, you also carry a profound hope for something different.

My approach is relational, caring, and collaborative—grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, both to our authentic selves and to others. We move with gentleness, curiosity, and at the pace that trust allows.

I would be honoured to walk alongside you on this journey.

Therapeutic Approaches

My counselling is grounded in modalities that honour the complexity of human experience, fostering healing through connection, curiosity, and embodiment.

IFS is a gentle, structured way of exploring your inner world. It helps us understand the different parts of ourselves—especially the ones that feel conflicted, reactive, or burdened. By approaching these parts with curiosity and care, we create space for deeper healing and self-leadership to emerge.

I draw on a humanistic foundation rooted in presence, authenticity, and meaning-making. Whether we’re exploring purpose, navigating uncertainty, or staying with difficult emotions, this approach invites depth, honesty, and agency.

Somatic therapy supports emotional healing through connection with the body. Together, we’ll tune into physical sensations, breath, and movement to access wisdom that isn’t always available through words alone.

Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) helps partners deepen connection by exploring emotional patterns in a safe, structured way. Together, we’ll uncover and reshape the cycles that create distance, fostering greater trust, responsiveness, and closeness.
